Painti is a children’s app for learning to read Punjabi. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information about you or your child. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. The app works entirely offline.
None. Painti does not ask for, collect, or send any personal information — no name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers.
Your learning progress (such as stars, daily streak, and which letters and words you’ve unlocked) is saved only on your device, in the app’s local storage. It never leaves your phone or tablet. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset all progress inside the app, or by uninstalling the app.
Painti does not require an internet connection and makes no network requests.
The app includes one optional feature, “Record & compare,” which uses your device’s microphone so a child can record themselves saying a word and immediately hear it played back next to the reference pronunciation. This feature is turned off by default. When it is on, the audio is processed only in your device’s memory for instant playback — it is never saved to the device, never uploaded, and never shared, and you can leave it off entirely in Settings. Painti requests no other sensitive permissions (no camera, location, contacts, or storage).
Painti is designed for children and families. Because the app collects no data at all, it does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant age in your region). It complies with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Families policy by collecting nothing.
Painti contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or social SDKs, and does not share any information with anyone, because none is collected.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
